Senior Vice President & Chief Nursing Officer at East Orange General Hospital in East Orange, New Jersey. Mr. Tuazon has served in various management and leadership roles in acute care hospitals and academia for over 25 years. He has served as the President of the New Jersey Board of Nursing and President, Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) of New Jersey. He serves on the Nursing Advisory Boards of Felician College and Seton Hall University. He is a member of the Board of Directors of ONENJ. He has been a Magnet Appraiser and Magnet Mentor for ANCC. Mr. Tuazon has received numerous awards including the Governor's Nursing Merit Award for Nursing Administration, Excellence in Administration Award from the NJSNA and PNA of America, Early Career Executive Award from the American College of Healthcare Executives and Community Leader Award from the Concerned Black Nurses of Newark. He is Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives (FACHE) and a Fellow of the National Academies of Practice (FNAP).
