Professor and Associate Dean for Research at the William F. Connell School of Nursing at Boston College. Additionally, Dr. Wolfe holds a faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Her clinical and research expertise is in on women with eating disorders. Dr. Wolfe is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (serving as President from 2003–2004), the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing, and the Eating Disorders Research Society. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. Dr. Wolfe served as a member of the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) interdisciplinary Eating Disorders Workgroup and as a member of the NAMI (formerly known as the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) Scientific Advisory Committee.
