Mary Beth Kingston M.S.N., R.N., N.E.A.-B.C., 2009 Cohort
Vice President for Health Care Services and Chief Nurse Executive at Albert Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Ms Kingston is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care programs, nursing practice and standards throughout all the network healthcare facilities and practice sites, and also has service line responsibility for the Women and Children's programs. Prior to this, she served in a variety of administrative and clinical roles, including Vice President for Operations at a community hospital, Director of Emergency Nursing at an academic medical center and President of a health care consulting firm. Ms Kingston has held a number of community board roles, most recently Chair of the Board of Trustees of an independent school and President of the Board of Directors of a non-profit whose mission is the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse. Active in professional organizations, she has served on the Strategic Planning Committee of AONE, and the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania and Southeastern Pennsylvania Organizations of Nurse Leaders. Ms. Kingston is currently a member of the LaSalle University School of Health Professions Advisory Board and Treasurer for the Community Renaissance Alliance Board which oversees seventy-three housing units for senior citizens in Northwest Philadelphia. She is a recipient of the Pennsylvania Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing Administration (2007).
