Margo MacRobert M.S., R.N., C.C.M., N.E.A.-B.C., 2009 Cohort
Assistant Dean for Clinical Operations and Executive Director of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Nursing Institute of Case Management in Oklahoma City. Ms. MacRobert is responsible for the leadership of more than 85 nurses and staff currently providing a variety of clinical services to Oklahomans.The practice includes a geriatric case management service for over 2,000 Medicaid/Advantage waiver eligible community-dwelling frail elders throughout the state of Oklahoma. She also oversees a private-pay geriatric case management practice as well as local clinics providing breast and cervical cancer screening to uninsured and underinsured women. Most recently, she initiated an international consultation practice providing case management department consultation and individual case manager development programs to the largest acute care hospital system in Saudi Arabia. Prior to her work at the University of Oklahoma, Ms. MacRobert served in nursing leadership roles in an acute care hospital for over 20 years. Ms. MacRobert has a passion for serving the uninsured and medically needy. She serves on the Board of Directors for Central Oklahoma Integrated Network System, a non-profit that provides medical care to the uninsured and the Board of Directors for the Case Management Society of America-Oklahoma chapter. She is a member of the American Nurses' Association, Sigma Theta Tau, The Professional Geriatric Case Manager Association, and the American Organization of Nurse Executives. Ms. MacRobert received the Fran and Earl Ziegler Nursing Leadership Award (2008).
