Lynnie Meyer M.S.N., R.N., 2008 Cohort
Chief Development Officer at Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky. Under her leadership, the foundations generated more than $14 million in 2008 in support of Norton Healthcare's mission. Prior to joining Norton Healthcare, Ms. Meyer served as the CEO of The Center for Women and Families, where she successfully led a $12.5 million campaign. While at the Center she won the Annie E. Casey Foundation Families Count Award and secured a Kresge Foundation Challenge grant. Ms. Meyer has held positions with Caritas Health Services, U of L Hospital, CareTenders and The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She was inducted into the Bellarmine University Gallery of Distinguished Graduates, named a Business First Forty Under 40 honoree, and one of 40 Kentucky Leaders for the New Century. She has received numerous awards, including Center for Nonprofit Excellence Leadership Award, the NCCJ Humanitarian Award and the Presentation Academy Tower Award. Ms. Meyer is actively involved in community boards including the Archdiocese of Louisville Sexual Abuse Review Board, and the Louisville Science Center.
