Senior Vice President, Community Based Programs at Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center New York, New York a leading organization dedicated to providing pediatric, rehabilitative and palliative care to children with complex medical needs. Ms. Torres-Suarez oversees the community based services which include pediatric home care, a community health center and a school. She is responsible for development, implementation and evaluation of the organization's programs ensuring quality and productivity of services. Her extensive background in community healthcare programs includes serving as Senior VP, Services at Lighthouse International and Chief Operating Officer for Self-help Community Services in New York City. She was honored with the Excellence in Health Care Award from the Home Care Association (2007) and was instrumental in the development and implementation of the first pediatric long-term home health care program in New York State. Ms. Torres-Suarez serves as a board member of the Home Care Association of New York and is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses.
