Diane Drexler is the Chief Nursing Officer for Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) in Prescott, Arizona. YRMC is a two acute care hospital system, an outpatient wellness center and an outpatient advanced wound care center. Diane’s role is to provide leadership and strategic vision for nursing services throughout the organization.
Prior to joining YRMC, Diane served as the Vice President of Patient Care Services at Western Regional Medical Center, located in West Phoenix. The facility opened in December 2008, bringing the organizations revolutionary model of integrative and compassionate cancer care to the region. Diane’s responsible for development and implementation of the hospital’s plan for the provision of nursing and patient care. Diane came to CTCA from Banner Estrella Medical Center (BEMC), another innovative facility where she served as its inaugural Chief Nursing Officer. BEMC opened in January 2005 as the “hospital for the future,” employing advanced information technology, including CPOE in a community health care setting. Prior to joining BEMC, Drexler was the administrative director of cardiology services and outpatient treatment center at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix. She is a member of various organizations: American Organization of Nurse Executives, American College of Healthcare Executives, & Arizona Organization of Nurse Executives. In 2006, she participated in the Johnson & Johnson Wharton Fellows Nurse Executive Leadership Program. Diane is a graduate of the Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellowship Program.
